LEED (Leadership in Energy & Environmental Design) is an energetic–environmental quality evaluation system for the realization of “sustainable” buildings, both for new edifications and renovations.
LEED Assigns a score, based on the audited building’s compliance with various prerequisites and credits, allowing to obtain different levels of certification. The criteria are grouped into six categories, which include mandatory prescriptive prerequisites and a number of environmental performances, which together define the final score of the building:
