Environmental Due Diligence (phase I)
Phase I Environmental Due Diligence is oriented towards obtaining a preliminary opinion on the compliance of assets, land and industrial sites with current environmental regulations and identifying the presence or potential presence of dangerous materials in structures, in the soil and subsoil, in construction materials used and/or in fixed plant.
Phases:
- Analysis of documents and current conditions with regards to:
- site history, past and present use, urban context, surrounding sites;
- materials and plant present;
- pending applications and permits received;
- authorisations and licences;
- analysis certificates and investigations undertaken to define the presence of any hazardous materials in the soil, subsurface waters, waste, etc.
- Environmental Investigations comparing the de facto condition and that documented
- Issue of analysis reports, with indication of any necessary further phase II investigations
Output
- Compliance evaluation with details of necessary
or appropriate works
- Impact evaluation on waters and soil
- Evaluation on any measures already taken
- Evaluation of the need for more detailed investigation
