Environmental Due Diligence (phase II)
Phase II Environmental Due Diligence is aimed at investigating in greater detail the critical issues arising during phase I, by collecting soil and water samples for laboratory analysis and through non invasive inspection of the areas, structures and plant, with regards to:
- Inspection and sampling of materials containing asbestos;
- Management of potentially hazardous equipment and containers containing PCB;
- Inspection of underground tanks;
- Soil and subsoil sampling and analysis;
- Drawing and analysis of subsurface waters.

- Analysis and documentation retrieval;
- Due Diligence Inspection;
- Drawings of samples and field inspections;
- Analyses at accredited laboratories;
- Data Analyses and Due Diligence Reports;
- Preparation of feasibility studies and specific projects for bringing sites up to date with current regulations and analyses of management systems adopted with the identification of costs and adequate methodologies.
Output
- Degree and census of the materials surveyed;
- Analytical results;
- Overall evaluation on the hazardousness and preservation of materials;
- Preliminary indications on the implementation of safety measures/reclamation;
- Notification to competent bodies.
